1: Awarded to Chris, for recovering from a broken hand by finishing a (beautiful) hat.
Ehem… Is this thing on? First of all I’d like to thank my hand surgeon, his nurse, all the staff in the surgical center, all the people in the emergency room (even the doctor who hurt me bad setting the bone) and the occupational therapists for everything they’ve done to put me back together again. I would also like to thank my girlfriend for putting up with me while I’ve been out of work. And last but not least, thanks to my dear knitting group whose cards and assistance were such source of sunshine during a dark time…

2: Dum da da dum dum da dum!!!! Announcing! The recipient of the February 2010 Golden Squirrel Award!
Naomi, for her Pinion hat pattern. The pattern has been offered for sale all month as a benefit for Haiti relief organizations (and made quite a respectable little sum).
